Electrical Wire Buyers in Pacolet, South Carolina

Pacolet is a town of about 2,274 residents in Spartanburg County, in the Upstate. It is one of the 13 incorporated municipalities in the county, and its wire surplus follows the same pattern as the rest of the area. By population it ranks 8th of the 13 incorporated municipalities in the county, about 3% of their combined total.

Spartanburg County is one of the state's strongest manufacturing counties, anchored by automotive assembly and its supplier base, and that shapes what surplus looks like here. We purchase that material directly from businesses and individuals in Pacolet — no broker in the middle, no requirement to ship before payment.

What we see from Pacolet most often is large feeder conductor, VFD cable and tray cable, coming from automotive plants, tier-one suppliers and distributors. Both full reels and the tail ends of finished projects are purchased.

Sellers we work with in Pacolet

Pacolet sellers are typically automotive plants, tier-one suppliers, distributors. That includes single-reel transactions and complete storeroom clearances, and both are quoted the same way: item by item, on construction, footage and condition.

Selling surplus wire in Pacolet: what to expect

1. Describe the inventory

A short list or a photograph of the rack is enough to start. Tell us the wire types, rough quantities and where it is stored.

2. Photographs do the pricing

Four images per item — tag, jacket print, cut end, overview — usually replace a site visit entirely.

3. Review the evaluation

We return a line-item number with the items we are buying and the items we are passing on, and you decide what to sell.

4. Collection and payment

Freight is arranged regionally, and we will tell you when shipping a small lot is more practical than a dedicated truck. We pay on collection, by the method agreed before the truck is booked.
