Wire buying
Industrial Cable Spool Buyers in South Carolina
Cable on a spool is a product; the same cable in a pile is scrap. We buy spools and reels as inventory, which means we care about what is wound on them, how much is left, and whether the reel can be handled and shipped.
Wire and cable only. Statewide South Carolina pickup, no obligation to sell.
Full spools, partial spools and everything between
A full factory reel with an intact tag is the easiest thing in this industry to sell. A partial reel with two hundred feet left is the most common thing in this industry to own. Both are purchased, and both are priced on what is actually on the reel.
We buy individual spools, palletized lots and complete warehouse inventories. For large holdings we can work from a reel list and then verify on site.
Handling and logistics
Large reels require equipment: a forklift with sufficient capacity, a reel stand, or a crane. Tell us what handling is available at your location and we will plan pickup accordingly. Reels that cannot be moved safely are a logistics problem, not a valuation problem, and we would rather solve it in advance.
Smaller spools and coils can ship by common carrier. For partial reels, strapping and wrapping the loose end prevents damage in transit.
What we do not buy
We buy wire and cable, not empty reels, pallets, conduit or scrap equipment. If your inventory includes those items, we will still quote the wire and tell you what we are leaving out.
We also do not buy transformers, switchgear, breakers, motors or panelboards. This site exists for one product category, and staying in it is why our numbers are accurate.

What photographs help us price this fastest
A shot of the reel tag, a close-up of the jacket print, a clear view of the cut end, and one overview photograph of the whole inventory. Four images usually settle every question we have without a site visit.
Questions about selling cable spools & reels
Do you buy empty cable reels?
No. We buy the wire and cable on the reel, not the reel itself.
Can you pick up very large reels?
Yes, with advance planning. Tell us the reel diameter and approximate weight and what handling equipment is on site.
Do you buy a single partial reel?
Yes, if the value justifies collection. High-value cable such as medium voltage or large feeder often does; small branch-circuit partials usually do not.
What if the reel tag is missing?
We can estimate remaining footage by measurement or by weight, and identify the cable from the jacket print. It affects the offer but does not disqualify the reel.

Tell us what is on the reel
Send the basics and a few photographs. Reel tags, jacket markings and cut ends are usually enough for us to price the material without a site visit.
- Manufacturer or brand, if legible
