Wire buying

Low Voltage Cable Buyers in South Carolina

Low voltage covers everything under 50 volts: irrigation and landscape cable, security and access control, thermostat wire, speaker and control cable. Individually it is small; in quantity it adds up.

Wire and cable only. Statewide South Carolina pickup, no obligation to sell.

Low voltage surplus in South Carolina

Irrigation contractors, security installers, landscape lighting companies and low-voltage integrators all hold partial boxes of cable. Because the individual values are small, the inventory tends to accumulate until someone decides to clear it out.

We buy those lots: irrigation cable in 14/2 through 18/5, security and access control cable, thermostat wire, speaker cable and general low-voltage control cable.

What adds value in low voltage

Direct-burial rated cable, plenum-rated cable and shielded constructions are worth more than general-purpose cable. Copper conductor, rather than copper-clad aluminum, is essential; CCA cable has very little resale value.

Full boxes with intact labels are the easiest to sell. Opened boxes are valued on the remaining length, which can be read from the footage markings on the jacket.

Mixed low voltage lots

Most sellers have a mix rather than a single product. Send a list or photographs of the labels, and we will quote the lot line by line. If part of the inventory has no resale value, we will tell you rather than burying it in an average.

Low-voltage lots are compact and ship well, which makes them practical to sell from anywhere in the state.

What photographs help us price this fastest

A shot of the reel tag, a close-up of the jacket print, a clear view of the cut end, and one overview photograph of the whole inventory. Four images usually settle every question we have without a site visit.

Questions about selling low voltage cable

Do you buy partial boxes of low voltage cable?

Yes, as part of a mixed lot. Single partial boxes are usually too small to collect on their own.

Is copper-clad aluminum low voltage cable worth anything?

Very little. CCA has minimal copper content and almost no resale market.

What low voltage cable is worth the most?

Direct-burial and plenum-rated copper cable, plus shielded security and access control cable in full boxes.

Can I sell irrigation cable that was buried and removed?

Rarely. Recovered buried cable is usually not resalable, though the copper content still has value.
